The founder's story
It started with a piercing that closed, and an earring that didn't exist yet.
For almost two decades as a model, I turned up to castings in plain black. "Blank canvas" was the unspoken dress code. My small rebellion was my ears: layered jewellery that said what my uniform couldn't.
Then came 2020. During lockdown, one of my favourite piercings closed up. I couldn't find an earring that would hide the gap and still give me my stack, so I sketched one. That sketch became our signature Illusion Earring. One small problem solved turned into a collection, and in 2021, into Aaria London.

My philosophy is simple: do more with less. Each Illusion Earring gives you the look of a full stack from a single piercing.
One earring. The look of three. No extra piercings.
What started as my own styling problem is now the piece our customers come back for again and again.
The art of layering
Layering is how I've always worn jewellery. A stack says more than any single piece, and it's never really finished. Add a hoop, swap a charm, change it with your mood.
Everything we make is designed to work together, so you can build your stack piece by piece and make it yours. There's no right way to do it, only your way.
Jewellery should not be saved for special occasions. The occasion is that you got up.
Crafted with purpose
Every piece is made by hand in small batches by skilled artisans in our workshops in Jaipur and Bangkok. We use recycled sterling silver finished in 14k gold. I chose 14k for its softer, more delicate shade, the one that's truest to the solid gold you'd find in fine jewellery.
Our solid gold pieces are made to order, for the ones you'll never take off.
Every piece comes with a 3 year warranty, because I'd rather you wore it than worried about it.
