Ring Size Guide

Find Your Perfect Fit

The most reliable way to find your size is to measure a ring you already own and love. Inside diameter is the measurement that actually matters, so if you are between two sizes, size up. A ring that is slightly loose can be worn, a ring that is too tight cannot.

Ring Size Chart

Size shown on the product page Inside diameter Inside circumference
5 / J 15.7 mm 49.3 mm
6 / L 16.5 mm 51.9 mm
7 / O 17.3 mm 54.4 mm
8 / Q 18.0 mm 57.0 mm
9 / S 19.0 mm 59.5 mm

Method one: measure a ring you already own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the finger you are buying for.
  2. Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside, from one inner edge to the other.
  3. Match that measurement to the inside diameter column above.

Use a ruler with millimetres and measure at the widest point of the inside circle. Even half a millimetre changes the size, so measure twice.

Method two: measure your finger

  1. Cut a strip of paper about 5 mm wide and 100 mm long. Paper works better than string, which stretches.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger, not too tight, and mark where the ends overlap.
  3. Lay the strip flat and measure from the end to your mark in millimetres.
  4. Match that number to the inside circumference column above.

A few things worth knowing

  • Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their largest in the evening and in warm weather, and smallest first thing in the morning and when you are cold.
  • Check the knuckle. The ring has to pass over it. If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, go up a size.
  • Wider bands feel tighter. If you are buying a chunky band, consider sizing up.
  • Buying a surprise gift? Borrow a ring they already wear on the right finger and measure it with method one. If you are guessing, the most common size we sell is a 6 / L.
